I did this using FL Studio 5, I tried to make the whole thing sound freestylee:
After dividing by half the tempo of the syncopated drumming in the 2nd half of the track, I applied some random arpeggios on it and recorded live variations on the arpeggio speed to obtain the free-wheeling drumming on the 1st part.
